An ATS Mitigation Specialist is a key member of the criminal defense team who provides in-depth research and comprehensive documentation of a defendant’s life history for defense counsel.
Working in coordination with defense attorneys and/or Public Defender Services, the specialist independently prepares and presents mitigation evidence in the penalty phase of capital cases and provides similar services in serious violent and non-violent offenses.
REDIRECT Academy, is a Zoom-based juvenile intervention program designed to provide structured, court-approved educational and behavioral classes for youth and families.
Our programs have been active in the State of Alabama since 2010 and is designed to address many of the issues commonly seen in juvenile court cases. All classes are conducted live via Zoom by a qualified instructor who actively monitors attendance and participation. We provide weekly attendance reports as well as worksheets and materials for each class; which are available on our website for easy download and completion.
The ATS Case Specialist is a member of the criminal defense team that provides supportive research,
discovery analysis, significant documented history of the defendant and other items as requested by the attorney of record. Working with defense counsel and/or Public Defender Services, the ATS case specialist is accountable for the independent preparation and presentation to the Attorney of the case each step of the way. The case specialist will work close with the attorney of record to ensure that all items needed for the defense are included in the case file. The ATS Case Specialist bears the primary responsibility for providing trial lawyers with information, professional analysis, expert testimony and evidence to present to a judge or jury in considering the disposition of a significant criminal case.
